My story

I’m an Australian writer and creator living in Seattle, USA. I write dark, sensory, volatile, sometimes funny books about identity, obsession, sex and adventure – like DIM and Shark Song. Right now, I’m pitching a new novel that starts with a car crash and ends with a gunshot. I also run Brandsome, a company that helps brands tell their stories. For updates on my work, join my list.

Not since E. Annie Proulx’s powerfully poetic Postcards and Susan Power’s gloriously entrancing The Grass Dancer can I recall being so in awe of a first-time writer.
